Sweet Bug was a flower girl this weekend. She LOVED being a flower girl. I loved her being a flower girl.
Mother’s Day, perfection
A little camping, a little eating and a whole lot of fun.
I am truly blessed with two beautiful girls. Thankful for a husband who makes the day special. For a sweet present from my sweet sister. It was almost a perfect day.
The perfect mother’s day this year was spent at Montgomery Bell State Park. One year it will be spent at the top of Mt Le Conte with my sweet girls. But for now, a little lunch and a beautiful lake will be be considered perfect.
Bucket list item: camping
One of my items for this year (on the bucket list) was to buy a camper and go camping! Mission accomplished. Now for the next item, camp at every single state parks in Tennessee!
Quick escape
Sometimes all you need is a quick escape in the middle of the work week.
A $2 carousel ride makes a rainy day seem like a big adventure.

This picture makes me smile, today, but not yesterday when the picture was taken. These girls were crazy this weekend.
And I do mean crazy! But they were crazy together. They got into trouble together, didn’t listen or obey and they did that together. Sisters. That’s what it is about. If you don’t have one, I am so sorry, because everyone needs one in life. I am so excited because my youngest sister flies in tomorrow and I can’t wait. It’s been since Thanksgiving since I have seen her (although we text and talk frequently). I am so looking forward to seeing her tomorrow.

Bug, Today you are 5. You are smart, silly, giggly & sweet. Living life wide open. When asked what kind of day you are going to say you either say “happy” or “funny”. You are sounding out words and will be reading soon. It’s amazing to see how well you write your name. Your favorite colors are pink and purple and you love flowers. Dresses are your preferred attire and you LOVE eating out either for pizza or Mexican. I love your sweet spirit. Happy birthday!
